Always up for an adventure

Hey, I’m Katelyn—the girl behind the lens, the one who will help you feel like your most natural, joyful self in front of the camera. Whether we’re hiking up a mountain for an epic elopement, chasing golden hour light on the beach, or capturing those quiet, emotional in-between moments, I’m here to document your love story in a way that feels real, raw, and uniquely you.

One of my biggest travel goals is visiting every National Park—they’re hands down my favorite places to explore. There’s something about standing in wild, untouched landscapes that makes me feel most alive. I’m slowly checking them off my bucket list, usually with my camera in hand, ready to capture the magic of each one. On my last RV road trip across California, something pretty unforgettable happened—my boyfriend proposed in the heart of King’s Canyon National Park. It was one of those golden-hour moments I’ll never forget, surrounded by towering trees and total stillness.

So far, I’ve checked a few incredible places off my national park list:
Acadia in Maine
Biscayne and Everglades in Florida
Joshua Tree, King’s Canyon, Sequoia, and Death Valley in California

Next up? Shenandoah National Park in Virginia and the wild, windswept shores of Chincoteague Island (to see the wild horses ahhhhh). I’ve got a growing list, and I’m always chasing the next view.

Two people stand outdoors in a forest, posing playfully for the camera. One man is smiling and flexing his arm, while the woman makes a silly face with her tongue out and her eyes squinting. Both are wearing dark jackets, and there is a large tree behind them amidst snowy ground and trees in the background.

Finding magic in the in-between and the untamed

Creating has always been at the heart of who I am. From drawing and painting to sculpting, I’ve been making art in some form for as long as I can remember. But photography? That’s where my passion truly thrives. When I’m not behind the camera (or deep in an editing session), you’ll find me outside—hiking, paddle boarding, biking, or wandering through a flea market in search of hidden gems. I absolutely love horseback riding, especially when it means soaking in breathtaking views.

I’m always chasing that next spark—the kind that comes from trying something new or seeing the world from a different angle. Whether it’s exploring a new trail, road-tripping to a national park, or hopping on a plane with just an AllTrails list, I crave experiences that feel a little wild and a lot meaningful. Adventure fuels my creativity, and the more I explore, the more inspired I feel to create honest, heartfelt images that reflect the beauty of the world—and the people—in front of my lens.

A Peek Into My Little World

At home, I share my space with two rescue cats who are equal parts adorable and chaotic (and yes, they love to “help” during editing marathons). One day, I’d love to welcome a dog into the mix—and maybe a few goats or chickens down the line. I’ve recently started growing herbs for my kitchen and have big dreams of turning my deck into a little jungle of potted plants. My love for nature runs deep; it’s what led me to earn a degree in Biological Sciences from UMass Lowell and fuels my passion for conservation. I’d love to eventually use photography as a way to advocate for environmental protection and shine a light on the natural world that inspires me daily.

My fiancé, Sean, has been by my side through so many of life’s best adventures—whether we’re hiking through a national park, camping in the White Mountains, road-tripping in an RV, or just curled up at home watching Harry Potter for the hundredth time. He’s my biggest supporter, my go-to trail buddy, and the calm to my creative chaos. Getting to do life (and chase views) with him makes everything a little sweeter. We are currently celebrating over 5 years together, wowie!!

Animals have always held a huge piece of my heart—whether it’s spotting wildlife on a hike, bonding with a trail horse, or just quietly watching birds from my window. I believe the world feels more grounded, more alive, when you slow down and really connect with it.

When I’m unwinding, you’ll usually catch me rewatching Disney classics or deep into a binge of The Mandalorian or Better Call Saul. I’m a huge fan of gaming (Hogwarts Legacy and Baldur’s Gate are current favorites), and I still roll dice in a D&D campaign with my college crew whenever we can sync our schedules.

My dream? A cozy little homestead tucked somewhere in Vermont or New Hampshire, surrounded by woods, family, and a few quirky farm animals. #smalltownvibes forever.

By Your Side, Every Step of the Trail | Rooted in Support, Built on Connection

With years of experience documenting elopements, intimate weddings, and love stories in some of the most beautiful corners of New England and beyond, I’m here for so much more than just showing up with a camera. My goal is to support you through every step of this journey—from choosing a location that speaks to your story, to building a timeline that allows space for both adventure and rest, to gently guiding you in front of the lens so you feel confident and completely yourself.

I know that planning something intimate and meaningful can sometimes feel overwhelming—especially if you're doing things a little differently than tradition expects. That’s where I come in. Whether you need help navigating permits, scouting the perfect golden-hour trail, or just a sounding board for your ideas, I’m here to help you bring your vision to life. I take on the behind-the-scenes logistics so you can stay grounded in what really matters: celebrating your love, your way.

When the day comes, I’m not just a photographer—I’m your hiking buddy, dress fluffer, vow cheerleader, and built-in calm presence when you need to breathe and soak it all in. I’ll be right there capturing every messy, magical, heart-filled moment—because you deserve to feel seen, supported, and celebrated through it all.
